On Saturday 24 February, Spott Church will be open between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. for quiet reflection and prayer regarding the various armed conflicts currently plaguing our world.
Tragically, we are approaching the second anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine; misery, violence, death and destruction continues to be inflicted on the people of Ukraine. We have seen equally horrific scenes regarding the ongoing conflict in the Holy Land over the past five months. For too long, the people of Yemen have been subjected to the devastating effects of civil war. And the list goes on and on - the same can be said of many other parts of the world.
We feel powerless, but the one thing we know we can do is pray. So on 24 February, please join us in praying for the people of these countries and pray for an end to the suffering. (Don't feel you need to stay for the full two hours; just join us when you can.)
