Christian Aid Week: 11-18 May

Christian Aid Week takes place this year from 11-18 May. During this week, Christians from many churches in Scotland and elsewhere come together to raise funds for Christian Aid's work worldwide. Together with their partners, Christian Aid focuses on supporting people to push back against the inhumanity of poverty to build a better future.

Donation envelopes are now available in both Belhaven and Spott - they can be handed in at church on or before 25 May. In addition, there are two special events taking place in support of Christian Aid:

Songs of Praise: Sunday 11 May at 7 p.m. in Belhaven Church
You are warmly invited to join us to enjoy a selection of hymns chosen by members of different congregations in the Dunbar area. The worship will be followed by refreshments in the Church Hall.

Soup & Cheese Lunch: Sunday 18 May at Belhaven
After the morning service on 18 May, you are invited to join us for lunch in the Church Hall. There is no charge, but donations for Christian Aid are invited. The Launchpad group will also be organising a Bake Sale at the same time.
